Climbing To the Peak
A lifetime seeking
Truth
(climbing the
mountain of life)
has led me to
I AM
because
LOVE IS
at this moment
(on this plateau.)
This five-word
statement
seems to embody my
reality,
my being,
in relationship
with the Divine,
My Truth.
But what is Truth?
Is it something
out there,
something to be
discovered or perceived?
Jesus said he came
to bear witness to it.
He said He was the
Way, the Truth, the Life.
Is Truth Being?
Plato said Truth
is the memory
of who we are and
what we know
from all eternity.
In Sanskrit,
Truth is that which is.
If Truth is
Reality, Pure Reality,
is it one?
Is my
I AM
because
LOVE IS
the one truth for
all?
Truth
must be infinite,
unlimited,
and
with an infinite
number of facets.
Each facet of
Truth
must be True
without
encompassing
all of Truth
which is infinite.
I believe each
path
up the Mountain of
Life
is unique
even though we are
all headed to
the same peak.
With each path
unique,
the view from the
mountain is unique
depending on the
eyes of the beholder
and the slope of
the mountain
at a particular
moment.
Truth may be One,
but apprehended
and represented
uniquely and
distinctly by each and every
climber’s
consciousness and position on the Mountain.
The View through
my eyes
and heart
at this juncture
on my climb
is
I AM
because
LOVE IS.
I will only be
able to see
the
All-Encompassing View of Truth
when I reach the
Peak.
We can then share
it together.
